Joseph Owona orders the arrest of sports journalist Guy Nsigué

The sports journalist, Guy Nsigué is currently confined in the premises of the Secretariat of State for defence (SED) in Yaoundé.

The alert was given by Martin Camus Mimb, sports journalist and General Director of Radio Sport Info (Rsi), a radio broadcasting from Douala.

"Guy Nsigue, reporter at RSI 92.3 FM and Mboafootball has just been conveyed to the Sed on the orders of his Excellency Joseph Owona", Martin Camus Mimb indicated on his official Facebook page.

But a mystery still hangs on the circumstances and the reasons for the arrest. In order to get answers to these doubts, we have tried in vain to get to Joseph Owona, Guy Nsigue and Martin Camus.

"This case concerns an old folder. When Joseph Owona and his peers of the Standardization Committee were installed at the Fecafoot, Joseph Owana had complained of insults and defamations from Guy Nsigue and his colleague Steve Djouguela", explained Soleil Nyassa, a very influential member of the Cameroonian football circles.

The latter noted that Steve Djouguela is also in the radar of the eminent professor.
