Just 24 hours after signing a decision that sets the Secretary General administrative leave of Tombi A Roko, the chairman of FECAFOOT Standards Committee, Joseph Owona, decided to appoint Paul Mebizo'o post interim Secretary General, yesterday night.

He is not a stranger of the body. Paul Mebizo'o has been an employee of FECAFOOT for about 18 years. After serving in the department in charge of drawing up the licenses, he was promoted less than four years as head of the department of Competitions to the Cameroon Football Federation.

He was appointed to replace his supervisor at least until the end of FECAFOOT standardization process; a process that has lasted two years and will end on September 30, 2015.

The election of the new President of FECAFOOT is scheduled on September 28, 2015. However, the page of this final stage of standardization is not yet open. After the adoption of the new constitution and electoral code of the instance on August 5, the Standardization Committee proceeded to the adoption of texts within departmental and regional leagues. The electoral process opens on August 28, 2015 by decentralized leagues.
