The Attorney General of the SCC is resolute to place the former Dg of Camwater under the warrant of committal to Kondengui central prison in the coming days, according to the La Météo newspaper in its August 13, 2015 edition.

The new Attorney General at the Special Criminal Court (SCC), Justine Aimée Ngounou Tchokonthieu, has reopened all files placed under a bushel by his predecessor, including his own. Justine Aimée Ngounou has also fined serious charges against Jean Williams Sollo.

The newspaper recalled that on March 31, 2014, the boss of the drinking water production company in Cameroon, had been confused by the magistrates. Therefore, on the basis of denunciations of Pascal Ondoa (intermediary at the outset of the transaction, who was betrayed by Mr Sollo in the end, established that the 222 million Fcfa released by Camwater for the purchase at Etetak in Yaoundé of 3700 m2 (at the rate of 60,000 FCfa m2) of land, before the construction of the headquarters of the company, had been improperly released. This was in violation of the procedures in question or those laid down in the general taxes Code.

Convinced that they had committed an error, the boss of Camwater had no other choice than to firmly promise the magistrates to repay the amounts owed. Has he done this?; the journal questioned. The reopening of Jean Williams Sollo’s case by the new Attorney General of the SCC will make him sleepless.

According to La Météo, the ex Dg has begun parading the corridors of the Unity Palace "seeking to meet with officials of the Presidency who he regularly seeks support from each time things get tightened around him".
