Irate French diplomat walks out on MPs at National Assembly

While the National Representatives gathered in the House for a special plenary's support for security and defence forces against Boko haram last Thursday, Lazare Souop, Deputy of the Movement for the Revival of Cameroon (MRC) violently attacked France, causing the hasty departure of the representative of Paris from the room.

Indeed, MP for the Movement for the Revival of Cameroon (MRC) noted that France is at the head of the socio-political and religious crisis in the Central African Republic for several months. This was not well received by representative of France who immediately left their seat of the Chamber rostrum to protest outside.

Reached by telephone, the French diplomat refused to comment on the incident but did not deny to have left the House at the time when the MP Lazare Souop picked on his country.
