Imam, Muslim dignitaries uphold peace and security

The Council of Imams and Muslim Dignitaries in Cameroon CIDIMUC are currently charting the way forward to a more tranquil and secured Africa and Cameroon in particular.

On the fourth edition of the CIDIMUC Congress held at the Yaounde City Council, Imams and Muslim Dignitaries have been drilled on the various types of violence and how to avoid them all in bid to handle the challenges of peace and security as reflected in their theme.

Apart from mapping out strategies needed to combat terrorism, these Muslim Faithful have also been drilled on the different ways of boosting development in the country.

During the first day of the congress they paid a visit to the African Institute of Computer Sciences I.A.I.

The fourth congress was this Tuesday, May 10, 2016, declared opened by the General Coordinator of CIDIMUC Dr. Moussa Oumarou in the midst of state dignitaries including the Ambassador of Brazil.
