Ibrahim Amadou held in prison for prison charges

Since September 20, 2013, Ibrahim Amadou who has allegedly finished serving his sentence is still held at Kondengui prisons pending a non payment of a charge of 5 000 F cfa.

Ibrahim Amadou has regained his freedom since September 20, 2013, but, is still held at Kondengui prison under the fallacious pretext that the prison administration is not yet in possession of his release order.

As a result of this, they are demanding the sum of 5 000 Fcfa for the search of the result. Penniless, the man has been held in prison for more than a year for nothing as long as he fails to pay the 5,000 CFA francs.

Moreover, Ibrahim Amadou had been put under warrant of committal on August 20, 2012 at Kondengui central prison and sentenced November 14, 2012 by the judge Daïrou to 13 months of closed confinement for "theft".

Released September 20, 2013, after serving his sentence, he is still held back because those in charge revealed that the prison administration had not received his release order.
