IAI to train over one million youth in ICT

The launch of the operation MIJEF 2035, founded by Armand Claude Abanda, the Director of the African computing Institute (IAI) took place March 13, at the IAI campus in Nkolanga.

"As a personal representative of Mrs. Chantal Biya first lady of Cameroon, Mrs. Marcy Niat, wife of the Senate president presided over the ceremony to launch the programme of training of young people, children and women in ICTs by the Institut Africain d'informatique representation of Cameroon dubbed Operation MIJEF 2035 which will take place at the campus of the IAI Cameroon in Nkolanga Friday, March 13, 2015.

They launched the operation to train one million youth, children and women in urban and rural areas on ICT. The launching ceremony of this new operation was coupled with the dedication of the book retracing the operation 100,000 women by 2012.

The event, highly politicized and useful to the Government to magnify its balance sheet, invited all the national and international press to "ensure optimal coverage of this important event".
