I am grateful to Paul Biya for the confidence - Bidoung Mkpatt

Pierre Ismaël Bidoung Mkpattt, the new Minister of Sports and Physical Education (MINSEP), has expressed his gratitude to President Paul Biya for the appointment.

The delighted Bidoung Mkpatt made this known via the national station, CRTV, a few hours after he was appointed.

"I want to sincerely express my respectful appreciation to His Excellency Mr. Paul Biya, President of the Republic, for the very high confidence he has granted me by appointing me as head of the Sports and Physical Education Ministry, which is an important field,” he said.

The former Minister of Youth and Civic Education stated that he is aware of the enormity of the task that awaits him in his new role.

“We are aware of the complexity of the challenges we face. The high confidence of the head of state pushes us to work in a participatory dynamic synergy of skills to be able to meet this challenge ", said Bidoung Mkpatt.

The former director of the National Institute of Youth and Sports (INJS) concluded by adding that, "What is left for us is to work hard in order to meet the height of the missions entrusted to us.”
