Honourable Viche Taga of the National Assembly buried

National Assembly National Assembly

Honourable Taga Viche, who died on August 21 from an illness in Maroua, was taken to his final resting place in his native village, Moskota in Mayo-Tsanaga department on Saturday.

The funeral of the CPDM MP for Mayo-Tsanaga North was attended by relatives, friends, elite of the community and a delegation led by Isabelle Silikam, Secretary of the office of the National Assembly.

He was elected into the National Assembly within the framework of the ongoing 9th legislature where he had worked for less than two years until his death. His colleagues described him as a simple man, very endearing and especially a strong leader.

These were the qualities that made him the first Mayor of the town of Mozogo before coming to the Verre Palace of Ngoa-Ekelle. Nevertheless, he had no time to complete his first term at the National Assembly. The elected MP for Mayo-Tsanaga, North, was a member of the Commission of National Defence and Security.
