Gov’t to construct Limbe stadium road

The newly constructed Limbe Stadium which is to host the 2014 female African Nations Cup will soon have two newly constructed roads, Minister Amba Salla said.

He said the road leading in to the new Limbe stadium is still a pretty rugged path; adding that with the stadium being one of the venues for the 2014 African Female Nations Cup, there was no time to waste in looking for funding to have the access roads done in time.

Minister Amba Salla, who began his Limbe visit with a stop at the new stadium in Limbe, said the Government was mobilising to have two access roads constructed to the arena as soon as possible.

Minister Amba Salla was very impressed with the work done by the China National Machinery and Equipment Export and Import Company in building the Limbe stadium.

He, however, said the works of building the stadium and access roads should have been done simultaneously.

He also said every other facility that is still needed in the stadium such as wiring-in electricity, providing water, building a parking lot and so on will be done.
