'GoBuySell' mobile app launched in Buea

GoBuySell, an App for buying and selling products and services in local communities and worldwide was launched in Buea on Friday, January 23, 2015.

GoBuySell is a bilingual mobile application that provides its users with a means to search, buy and/or sell items in their local community and the world at large.

It simply links the buyer to the seller and vice versa. It thus bridges the gap between those wanting to sell items and those who may want to buy the products.

After placing your item on sale, you can track and see those who have viewed your item. This tracking functionality of GoBuySell also lets you see people and their proposed prices on your item. You can then contact to them directly. All you need is just One Click to call the person!!

GoBuySell is a product of the Go-Groups Ltd, Software Company in Cameroon that specializes on Web and Mobile Applications.

According to Michael Boyo, team leader of the GoBuySell concept, shopping in the 21st century is now concentrating on online and Cameroon cannot be left in the cold.

“We have young talented engineers that are doing quite a lot. Cameroonians must trust and make use of their own creation. A lot of change is coming to Cameroon now. The future is mobile and we have to be part of the future,” Mike Boyo said.

Given that penetration of phones in Africa is above 80% and that Smartphones are widely being accepted. Mike Boyo said GoBuySell sets the pace for the future where businesses will go mobile.

The team headed by Micahel Boyo is composed of Tanko Edward Tuidjong and Ngwa Lewis Che on the frontline and Dr. Nde Donatus Nguti, Tse Fua, Semi Clayton, Krys Nuvadga Tefe and Obiasong Frank Arrey.
