Girl Abandons Baby, Family Home

The 15-year-old mother was found in a man's house and dragged back home.

Fifteen-year-old Marlyse was practically dragged back home by her mother's friend on Saturday February 16 afteroon, after she vamoosed from their Ngangue residence for three days. According to her escort, Marlyse abandoned her about one-year-old girl child with her mother, and left to an unknown destination. After searching for her all around, news got to them about the young lady's whereabouts. She was in a man's house in the Bonapriso neighbourhood. Given that her mother was babysitting, she then sent her friend to bring the young lady back home. When met, she was settled in the sitting room watching TV. Her "host" had gone out since morning. She first of all refused going home. It was only after threats by her mother's friend (who is their neighbour) that she reluctantly obeyed. Back at home in Ngangue, when reproached given that she could have been harmed, she accused her mother and the other woman of exaggerating, claiming she was in "security" since she "knows" the man.
