General Doualla Massago passes on

State run CRTV announces the demise of General Doualla Massago this morning, quoting the defence minister, Beti Assomo.

Following the uprising of February 2008, which brought a violent uproar in Cameroon, General Doualla Massago was appointed to head the gendarmerie unit in the Littoral region. The general, during his tenure refused orders from his superior to act against the protestors.
