The new Cameroonian recruit of Tottehnam will miss the Gambia-Cameroon match scheduled for September 6 in Banjul during the second day of qualifying for the CAN 2017.

He was replaced with another striker, Edgar Salli. The player of St. Gallen (Switzerland) was previously in the waiting list provided by Volker Finke. Salli had not been called for a selection after CAN 2015 in Equatorial Guinea.

As stated in previous publications, it was revealed that the situation has been clarified by Njie Clint on Sunday.

The former Lyon has not recovered from his health problems, which forced him to train away from the group after his arrival from England.

In the lair of the Indomitable Lions in Dakar, where they will perform their training, the first arrivals were recorded on Sunday with Alexandre Kombi, the Captain of the Athletic Union de Douala, alongside members of the technical and administrative supervision. They were later joined in the evening by Volker Finke and his Ghanaian deputy, Ibrahim Tanko.

According to the Team press officer, Vincent De Paul Atangana, most players will return on Monday to the den after their respective championships.
