Fritz Ntonè Ntonè summoned by Special Criminal Court

Fritz Ntonè Ntonè has been ordered by the judges to appear before the Tribunal criminel spécial (Tcs). The information was published in the June 19, 2015 edition of La Nouvelle Expression newspaper which did not include any further details.

The government delegate was appointed to the Douala Urban Community since 30 September, 2006 and for several years after, the media has announced the indictment of Dr. Fritz Ntonè Ntonè for his management of the Urban Community of Douala. But it was always a false alarm," the newspaper said adding that his predecessor, Colonel Edward Etonde Ekotto "was arrested and imprisoned for his management as Chair of the Board of the Autonomous Port of Douala and was released in less than a year."

The newspaper also mentioned, without linking to the summons, "the fire that destroyed the offices of the city of Douala hotel on the night of 6 April 2015 where a mission of the Ministry for the Presidency of the Republic in charge of higher state control had to stay.

Before, Dr. Fritz Ntonè Ntonè became a government delegate, he held several senior physician positions in some hospitals in Douala like the Bonassama District Hospital (Bonabéri - Douala), Laquintinie hospital Douala.

His contribution to Laquintinie hospital has been highly appreciated by most of the population of the city. In Laquintinie hospital, he fought against corruption and took effective charge of the patients in the wards.
