François Ngoubene relieved of duty at CMR Embassy in USA

President Biya, has signed a decree Monday, November 3, 2014, which appoints Mr Balla Mbarga Henri as collector at the Embassy of Cameroon in the United States of America in Washington DC.

Before his promotion, the Inspector of the financial institutions (Treasury), was the municipal receiver at the Yaoundé urban community.

In his order, the president of the Republic, Paul Biya, said that Balla Mbarga Henri will replace Mr Ngoubene François. The head of State was however silent on the future of the predecessor of Balla Mbarga Henri who has for about two decades been the tax collector in the US.

The decision of the head of the Cameroonian State came at the time when François Ngoubene has been accused of misappropriation of public funds.
