François Hollande sends his condolences to Cameroon

France, through its President François Holland has sent a condolence message to President Paul Biya after the double attack which recorded several victims last week.

Below is the full letter.

Mr. President.

It is with dismay that I learnt of the double attack onThursday, at Kerawa, in the Far North Region of your country.

On behalf of France and on my own behalf, I wish to express to you and the families of those killed in these terrible circumstances, my most sincere condolences and my wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.

These new attack clarifies us with certainty that only the firmness and the cooperation between the countries of the Lake Chad basin will help defeat terrorism.

More than ever, you can count on the resolute support of France in this struggle you carry out with such courage and determination. Please accept, Mr. President, the assurance of my highest consideration.
