Francois Hollande thinks that like Nigeria, Chad and Niger; Cameroon faced the "blind attacks by Boko Haram” with courage. The regional coordination, now in place, will allow the affected countries to respond to these threats," said the French president.

Before reiterating the support of his country to countries attacked by Boko Haram, he earlier stated that, "France, as you know, is on your side as well as countries in the Lake Chad basin region to face and to put an end to the hideous activities of the terrorists," said the successor of Nicolas Sarkozy who paid an official visit to Cameroon July 3, 2015.
