Former President of the Supreme Court engages in a battle

Dipanda Mouelle Alexis, former president of the Supreme Court of Cameroon, has initiated a graceful appeal of a preliminary step “before referral to the tribunal.”

According to Repères, a private weekly newspaper in Yaoundé, his anger is directed towards those he considered his backstabbers like Laurent Esso, current Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals. He is a native of the Coast, the same region as Mouelle.

Mouelle retired on December 18, 2014 at the age of 79 years by an Act of the head of state -after a session of the Supreme Judicial Council.

By the time he was sent on Pension retirement at the age of 79, former president of the Supreme Court benefited from an extension of 2 years 24 months, and has already exhausted six months, the newspaper revealed.
