First Lady, Chantel Biya pays tribute to late mother

Chantal Biya responded to the death of her mother on Thursday via her Facebook platform after the announcement of the death of her dear mother in South Africa. "May your soul rest in peace Mum. Nothing can ever replace you.", said the bereaved first lady.

Absent from social networks since the month of April 2014, Chantal Biya who was deeply affected by the death of her mother went back on Facebook after several months of silence.

Madam Chantal also posted a photo of her Mum, Rosette Marie Mboutchouang taken last January during the ceremony of vows to the first lady.

Junior Biya, the son of Chantal Biya, who is active on social networks, has also reacted to the death of his grandmother in South Africa. "Friends I have deep pain to announce the death of my grandmother. May her soul rests in peace. Mamy you will remain ever etched in our memories. RIP", Junior Biya wrote on his Facebook wall.
