Cameroon has lost eight places on the Fifa rankings this month; they dropped from the 51st to the 59th place globally.

Failing to garner some points to the accounting of points per nation, Stephane Mbia and his cronies have rather lost, despite their qualification for the group stage of the 2018 World Cup last month by beating Niger 3-0 aggregate.

On the mainland, the Lions are ranked 10th, and the African rankings are dominated by Côte d'Ivoire which won three seats this month and are in the world's top 20 at the 19th position.

The second African nation is Algeria while Ghana is the third in the continental podium.
