Father orders son's detention

Jacques Sona, the son of Herve Sona who lives in the Mvog-Ada neighbourhood has been under Police custody at the Yaounde First District Police Station since September 21, 2014 for beating his half-sister.

Police Commissioner Yves Chedom told Cameroon Tribune that Herve Sona said his son has been harassing his family members for a long time, for reasons unknown.

On September 21, Jacques got his half-sister beaten to a point that their father could no longer bear it thus, he took the matter to the police.
