More than a hundred persons have reportedly been missing after a deadly attack by Boko Haram which killed 10 people on Monday night.
“The suspected Boko Haram fighters attacked Tchakamari town, Mayo-Sava (Extreme North region), shortly after 22h (10PM). About 10 inhabitants, including members of the vigilance committee, were killed. However, about 110 people have still not been found. Dozens of houses and shops were burnt and looted,” security and administrative sources stated on Tuesday.
The government has not yet confirmed the attack. At a press conference on the security situation of the country, on Tuesday, Issa Bakary Tchiroma did not address the subject.
