FECAFOOT: Oyono Afane dragged to court after his dismissal

After his dismissal, the General Coordinator of national football teams of Cameroon, Pierre Claver Oyono Afane was taken to court.

As cameroon-info.net announced in a previous article, the Cameroon Football Federation has published a statement in which it confirmed the dismissal of Pierre Claver Oyono Afane from his position as general coordinator of the national football teams of Cameroon "for serious breaches of professional ethics and proven violations of existing regulations on public financial management" informed the Final Communiqué of the meeting of the Emergency Committee of FECAFOOT held on October 15, 2015.

In this release both muscular and unpublished, the sages of the Cameroon Football Federation threaten to drag the ex-employee suspected of embezzlement to court. "The Emergency Committee, mandated the Ad Hoc Committee to clarify the financial position of the ex-General Coordinator of National Footbal Teams, during his work reserving the right to apply to the competent judicial courts," says the final communiqué.

Appointed last year as General Coordinator of Indomitable Lions and Lionesses of all categories, the reign of Pierre Claver Oyono Afane was marked by many adventures. The interests of senior Indomitable Lions, Indomitable Lionesses and under 17 lions in international competitions between 2014 and 2015 were disrupted by mishaps in administration and logistics: Confiscation of property in the hotel for unpaid bills, lack of visas, Player abandoned in a foreign country for lack of ticket, alleged misappropriation of bonuses, are among other reprehensible acts that occurred in the den of lions since Joseph Owona had decided in October 2014 to appoint Pierre Claver Afane Oyono to the prestigious post of General Coordinator of the national football teams of Cameroon ...

FINAL COMMUNIQUE OF THE EMERGENCY MEETING OF THE COMMITTEE OF FECAFOOT October 15, 2015

On Thursday, October 15, 2015, in the conference room of the headquarters of FECAFOOT, held a meeting of the Emergency Committee, chaired by Mr. Tombi A Roko Sidiki.

The following items were placed on the agenda:

- Call of the members and quorum;

- Consideration of the Ad Hoc Committee's report entrusted to clarify the financial position of the general coordination of the national football teams;

- Review of the administrative situation of the General Coordination of National Selections Football;

- Miscellaneous.

Following the discussions, the following resolutions were taken:

1st Resolution: The Emergency Committee unanimously decided to strip Mr. Pierre Claver Oyono Afane of his duties as General Coordinator of the National Football Teams for serious breaches of professional ethics and proven regulatory violations in force on public financial management.

2nd Resolution: The Emergency Committee mandated the Ad Hoc Committee to clarify the financial position of the General Coordination of National football Selection, to continue his work and reserves the right to apply to the competent judicial courts.

3rd Resolution: The Emergency Committee decided to appoint Mr André NGUIDJOL NLEND to the functions of General Coordinator of National Football Teams.

4th Resolution: The Emergency Committee decided to appoint Mr André NGUIDJOL NLEND Authorising Officer of financial resources put at the disposal of the General Coordination of National Football Selections by the state.

5th Resolution: The Emergency Committee mandated the President of FECAFOOT to grasp the Minister of Sports and Physical Education, for the appointment of an Accountant to the General Coordination of the National Football Selections in relation with the Minister of Finance.
