The Ministry of Basic Education has organized a work shop on learning conditions for children living with disabilities.

The seminar organized for pedagogic inspectors and head teachers of Basic Education took place within the framework of the World Report on Education For All, (EFA).

The three day workshop organized in Limbe was chaired by the Secretary General for Basic Education.

During the workshop, Inspectors and head teachers of primary schools were urged to diversify their teaching methods so as to meet the needs of physically disabled pupils.

They were asked to use singular methods like music and other practical forms of learning as a first class teaching method for the disabled children.

The World Report on the Follow-up of Education for All was adopted by the Cameroon Government on 28th October 2014 in Yaounde.

Government embraced the Program in order to uphold inclusive education by creating a welcoming environment for all, maintain a positive learning environment for everyone and boost engagement especially for children of special needs.
