Examiners cautioned to mark police exams objectively

The Delegate General for National Security, Martin Mbarga Nguelle has instructed examiners selected for the marking of the scripts of the competitive entrance examination into the police schools to be objective in marking and avoid fraud or favouritism.

He was speaking at the Advanced Police College in Yaounde today while launching the marking phase during which the sealed scripts were opened up.

The police boss noted that the examination process has been computerised and results will be published in order of merit per region, division and subdivision for aspiring Cadet Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, Inspectors and Constables of Police respectively.

According to the marking schedule, each examiner will spend a maximum of four minutes marking a script.

Martin Mbarga Nguele assured examiners, invigilators and markers that a budget has been done to cover all the examination expenses.
