Eto'o Sports TV Case: New twist

Samuel Eto'o Fils Samuel Eto'o Fils

There has been a new twist to the ongoing Samuel Eto'o Fils' alleged sports channel in Cameroon.

This time, Oyas Nicolas Namur, who has spent 35 years in France, is involved. Yolande Bodiong, the Director of the production company, Maraboo, was tipped to head the new TV channel.

After her publication on August 10, in which she denies any involvement in the project, she published excerpts of messages sent via Yahoo Messenger by an individual who presented himself as "a man of medium" and owned five TV channels worldwide. It was disclosed on these Internet messages he had to communicate to David Eto'o, the younger brother of Samuel and also one Didier, about his sports channel so that they present the project to the former captain of the Indomitable Lions.

According to him, he only learned through the media that Eto'o was about to launch his sports TV channel. For one who claims that he was looking for an investor to carry his television channel called Africasport is almost in disillusionment.

"David, Didier and Jimmy confirmed that Samuel Eto'o was interested but not to the extent of stealing my project. I just want to understand, "he wrote to Yolande Bodiong. “Just to know what happened," he added later. He said he wanted to "settle this dispute amicably with Samuel Eto'o without the need for lawyers or the press."

On July 29, 2015, Oyas Nicolas Namur requested for a conference call with Bodiong and Eto'o. He wanted them to contact the press and TV channels to express themselves. He did not need to take the plunge. Yolande Bodiong almost did all the work.
