Essimi Menye flees to the United States

Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development (MINADER), Essimi Menye, fled to the United States.

According to the latest information circulating on social networks, the former Minister is in the United States.

Also, Cameroonian journalist Boris Bertolt, said the former Minister of Finance left the Neuilly hospital in France where he was under treatment since leaving Cameroon for several days.

Following the advice of many of his relatives, instead of returning to Cameroon, he took the road of the United States and is settled in his Washington apartment.

“His address is Shiplett 6305. Reached by telephone, the Minister was serene. In a calm voice, he discusses with his family and he was the one who picked the phone."

Before leaving Cameroon, Minister Essimi Menye was insistently presented in the press as a potential victim of Operation Sparrowhawk.

Before eventually benefiting from this medical evacuation “ordered by the President of the Republic”, he spent several weeks at the Hospital of the Fund in Yaounde.

Many rumors were circulating about his illness. While part of the press spoke of a herniated disc, other newspapers suggested a stroke.
