Eight months to finish access routes to Limbe stadium

Cameroon's Minister of Urban Development and Housing was in Limbe on Tuesday, October 27, 2015.

Jean-Claude Mbwentchou went officially to launch the construction of access roads to the new football stadium at the seaside town for the Ngeme Stadium.

After the tour on a construction vehicle, he gave instructions in respect to the construction site delivery times. "We came to ask companies to meet the deadlines for delivery of work which is 8 months."

We came to the municipal authorities to instruct that this project must be carried out under their vigilance. We came to tell the people of the Southwest in general as the Head of State keeps his promises and is waiting for good results in the 2016 African Women Championship," said Minister Mbwentchou.

Accompanied by the Governor of the South West region, Bernard Okalia Bilai, he met the advanced state of the work. Social housing in relation to the African Cup of Nations of 2016 was no exception.

The greater absence was water and electricity supply failure. The road that leads to the Ngeme Stadium includes three kilometers of paved roads, two roundabouts and car parks with 2660 spaces.

The 2016 African Women Championship to be hosted by Cameroon will kick off on November 2016.
