Eight Cameroonians among most wanted people in the world

Eight Cameroonians have found themselves as part of the most wanted people in the world of which the most famous of them is undoubtedly the former Minister of Public Works, Dieudonné Ambassa Zang Telesphore.

The profiling was done by the Compass newspaper in its Wednesday, September 2, 2015 edition.

The newspaper said the former Ministry of Public Works is "wanted by the Cameroonian judicial authorities to serve a sentence." Accused of complicity in coercion and misappropriation of public funds valued at 5,820,465,638 FCFA, Dieudonné Ambassa Zang from exile in France was sentenced in absentia to life in prison.

Mekongo Abega Debeauplan Felix, former contractual framework of Directors and former billeteur at the Department of Public Works is also wanted by the judicial authorities in order to serve a sentence. He was convicted of complicity in embezzlement with Dieudonné Ambassa Zang.

Also in the Interpol directory, Kemadjou Roger, is sought by the Cameroonian judicial authorities for prosecution. He was responsible for the field office of the Bank of Central African States in Paris for 10 years where almost 20 billion CFA francs were misappropriated.

Ngongo Djomo Felicity Isabelle is one of the popular women. Accused of embezzling public funds to mortgage credit, she was sentenced to 30 years in prison. The final Cameroonian, wanted by the local judicial authorities is Awa Michel. He was accused of fraud.

Finally three Cameroonians are sought by foreign judicial authorities. Among them are, Muki Elvis wanted by the Russian authorities for illegal storage of narcotics and selling of drugs; Godfrey Roland pursued by US authorities for fraud; Ndamka Ogunson is sought by the judicial authorities of Belarus for premeditated murder.
