Ebolowa tractor assembly plant goes operational in Oct.

The Minister of Economy, Planning and Regional Development (MINEPAT), Emmanuel Nganou Djoumessi has called on contractors of the Ebolowa Tractor Assembly Plant to complete the project by October 2014.

Minister Emmanuel Nganou made this call during a working visit to evaluate the level of work done at the site in Ebolowa on 23rd September, 2014.

The Minister, accompanied by the Governor of the South Region, Jules Marcellin Ndjaga, stopped-over at the different sections under construction including the assembly chain, administrative buildings, store rooms and canteen.

The MINEPAT boss went on to pledge government’s support in providing the necessary material needed to ensure the quick realisation of the project which is expected to effectively take off by October 2014.

This agro-industrial project which is already 95 % completed, has been underway since 2010.
