The entry of the national flags of partners and countries of officers who took part in the training gave the ticket to the graduation ceremony.

The Deputy Director of the International Academy for Security Forces (EIFORCE), Senior Police Commissioner, Cecile Oyono welcomed her guests to the graduation of 15 Officers of the second batch of the Higher Security Certificate and 21 Officers of the fifth batch of the Command and Staff Diploma for Security Forces.

The training according to the ECCAS representative is a major step towards concerted efforts in the fight against insecurity and to foster regional integration. The regional body pledged continuous support to the constitution that has proven its worth.

The Minister of External Relations, Pierre Mokoukou Mbonjo handed over encouragement prices to outstanding candidates in each of the categories before the award of diplomas. He urged the laureates to be efficient strategists in their analysis and actions.

The training which ends at a time when the Multinational Task Force is being put in place to eradicate the terrorist group, Boko Haram was marked by a lecture entitled “Understanding terrorism to better combat it”.

The lecture is a research work carried out by the academy to outline the functioning of the terrorist group and different measures to crush it using a global approach in line with UN strategy.
