Divisional officers trained to defend state interest

Divisional officers and chiefs of the administrative and legal affairs from four regions have attended a capacity building workshop in Douala.

The workshop which is a follow up to one organized at the national level in Yaounde was organized to acquaint top regional administrator on how best defend the state’s interest.

Administrators from the North West, South West, West and Littoral Regions of Cameroon were familiarized with the legal frame guiding their various offices and how to tactfully represent the state before the courts of law.

This seminar comes at a time when the states have been faced with numerous challenges on lawsuits by individuals and corperate bodies.

The seminar was presided by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralisation Pierre Essomba.
