At least 20 dead bodies have been pulled out of the Benue River in the Northern region of Cameroon on Sunday morning after two boats carrying about 50 people capsized some few hours ago.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to APA, the incident occurred during a heavy rain when the victims were returning from the market.
The number of survivors is not readily known, but sources say the boats were overloaded.
