The Director General of the Autonomous Port of Douala (PAD), Emmanuel Etoundi Oyono has issued a warning to the public against scammers.
Through a statement, the DG seeks to protect the action of "unscrupulous individuals" who "announce on social network sites recruitments that would take place at the Autonomous Port of Douala and the filing applications to the Directorate General of Customs after payment of FCFA 20,000 per file."
The DG of the Douala Pad sees this as an attempt to smear his government and called on the public to report the perpetrators to law enforcement forces and to the Directorate General of the Autonomous Port of Douala.
