Development of Douala II Taken to the Rostrum

CPDM's Denise Fampou received the promise of a comfortable victory from residents of Douala II Sub-division.

Lead candidates for the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement (CPDM) council list, Denise Fampou, and legislative list, Joseph Owona Nkono, together with party bigwig, Jean William Sollo and Jean Stephan Biatcha, revealed ways of how to transform Douala II Subdivision during campaign rallies in New-Bell and Bonapriso on Wednesday, September 25, 2013.

In her speech, Mayor Denise Fampou said a vote for the party is a vote for her to complete the development of the council area, enhance youth employment, improve women emancipation continue infrastructural development, as well as spur education, health and sports, etc. Fampou, who called on the population to vote the CPDM, was accompanied by a wave of unflinching support for a comfortable victory. Joseph Owona also drummed his party's pledges to transform the area.

Vice President of the Sub-divisional and Council Commissions, Jean Stephan Biatcha, told the people of Douala II to be very vigilant and careful not to make a mistake. "By being vigilant I mean keep on having full confidence on the CPDM and the future of Douala II and the whole country. This future is on very reliable hands, mastered and controlled by the party leaders who are those with responsibilities to assume the requirements of the nation."

Biatcha, who preached the message of unity, vigilance and confidence, explained that they are more determined than ever for more development, more roads, more education in terms of schools, more economic growth of the community and nation and other priorities.
