The Western Region has lost no less than three of its elites in just a few months.

These successions of deaths did not leave the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the CPDM, Jean Nkuete, indifferent.

According to the daily Le Messager newspaper on Monday, August 31, 2015, the SG of the Central Committee who led the delegation of the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement at the funeral of the wealthy businessman and Mayor of Bayangam, Andre Sohaing on Saturday, August 29, 2015, called on traditional worship and authorities in the region to address this series of deaths.

"In 10 months apart, the Cameroon People's Democratic Movement has lost three of its pillars. These are all three of the pylons in the Western Region. These three personalities are Rosette Mboutchouang; Françaoise Foning and André Sohaing, "he said.

According to the newspaper, Jean Nkuete who introduced himself as customary court chiefdoms said he could not remain indifferent to this bad series.

"The situation raises major questions in the cosmogony of the Western Region in the first place. I therefore asked the guardians of customary order of the people of the Western Region to look into it. That is to say our leaders and dignitaries of our traditions that are worthily represented here, namely the upper and other notable leaders of different secret societies so that they realize the seriousness of the problem and decide to look with dedication required." He noted.

For the CPDM Sg "they will find and provide satisfactory answers to the legitimate questions that arise. Traditional authorities are legitimate and have a capacity to read, understand and interpret the causes and consequences ".

Beyond this inquiry, the dignitary has paid tribute to Comrade André Sohaing as he described him as "outstanding militant".
