DG of Sonara fights Facebook impostors

Impostors have created fake Facebook pages posing as Ibrahim Talba Malla, Executive Director of the National Refining Company (Sonara) or the company he manages.

After having denounced the crooks who were brandishing jobs and vocational training a few months ago, Ibrahim Talba Malla pointed an accusing finger on scammers.

In a statement signed in Limbe on September 7, 2015, the former boss of the fund for the Stabilization of the prices of hydrocarbons wrote that "ill-intentioned and unidentified individuals opened profiles on social networks like Facebook using the name and pictures of its Director-General, Mr Ibrahim Talba Malla.”

He solicited the vigilance of Internet users on what he calls "an operation of malice" and took the opportunity to announce that he "never possessed a Facebook profile.”

Not long from now, it was the Cameroonian Defense Minister Edgar Alain Mebe Ngo'o who denounced and threatened those who had created a facebook profile in his name, denying he never did.
