Commissioners, police officers receive epaulettes

Equatorial Guinean and Togo trainees reached the end of the exercise and received their attributes while Cameroonians were decorated on Wednesday in Yaounde.

"Finally, Commissioner! " we could hear in the crowd yesterday at the National Police School (NPHS) Yaounde on the honouring occasion decorating 36 police officers and 16 Commissioners who ended their training with appreciable results ranging from 16.32 to 13.62 of 20 for the commissioners and 15.80 / 20 to 15.02 / 20 for officers.

For Equatorial Guinea and Togo nationalities, the graduands observed two and a half years of training. The ceremony was chaired by Martin Mbarga Nguélé, Delegate General for National Security (DGSN) who was accompanied by Jean Baptiste Bokam, Secretary of State for Defence in charge of the gendarmerie, Nicolas Obama Nchama, Minister of National Security of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and Koudouhovoh Teko Mawuli, CEO of the National Police of the Republic of Togo.

On the occasion, Martin Mbarga Nguélé exalted the cooperation between the two brothers and friendly countries. He urged the graduands to excel wherever service requirements will lead them and meet all expectations.

Thus, during their training, the graduates were sensitized on the current challenges of the internal and external security of States so in returning to their countries, they can meet the challenge of professionalism and efficiency.

In the same vein, honors were given to deserving staff of National Security who were part of the national holiday parade of 20 May. Thus, some officials were respectively elevated to the rank of Commander, Officer and Knight of the National Order of the value and of the Order of Merit of Cameroon and of the Order of Sporting Merit.

For DGNS, this is a tangible way to witness the recognition of the hard work of our guarantors.

A parade by different police divisions ended the ceremony.
