The Limani sector commander of Alpha Bir operation was killed Saturday afternoon. The newspaper Le Jour on newsstands Monday, October 19 talks about the circumstances of his death.

In its issue No. 2041, the tabloid says Captain Robert Djinebo led an escort of military engineering team at the time and in a clash with members of the Islamist sect Boko Haram, he died.

The officer Robert Djinebo had a reputation of a fighter among his comrades in the Bir where he built his career. He partook in the fight against maritime piracy in Bakassi. He was 34 years old. He was the winner of the promotion of peace and modernity Emia class 2004. He was married with two children.
