The information will definitely cause a ripple effect in the closed circle of Cavaye Yeguie Djibril, the permanent Chairman of the National Assembly of Cameroon.

On Monday, June 15, 2015, Cavaye Yeguie Djibril sacked his bodyguard, Captain Bouba Simala.

Though the decision sanctioned by PAN does not reveal the reasons for the dismissal, it stipulates, however, that the uniformed man has been handed back to his administration of origin which is the Ministry of defence.

Before being promoted to the rank of Captain and bodyguard of the president of the lower House of the Cameroonian Parliament, Lieutenant Bouba Simala had been appointed in April 2009 the authority in charge of operations in the office of PAN.

Beyond the simple professional framework, there was a relationship between Lieutenant Bouba Simala and Cavaye Yeguie Djibril. The former who was presented as the nephew of the latter has been assisting his uncle in the professional framework for two decades.

Cavaye Yeguie Djibril who presides over the National Assembly for the past 23 years separated from his bodyguard while he had just completed the hearings granted Ambassadors Klaus Ludwig of Germany, Aliou Ndaor Fall of Senegal and Jalel Snoussi of Tunisia.

The first two diplomats came to bid farewell to PAN and on the other hand, the new Ambassador of Tunisia to Cameroon went to pay a courtesy visit to the Rt. Hon. Cavaye Yeguie Djibril.
