Catherine Samba-Panza makes brief stop in Douala

En route to Brussels, the president of the transition RCA made a stopover in the economic capital on Monday.

The secretary general of the services of the Governor of the Littoral region, Ludovic Etienne Ngbwa, was the last Cameroonian personality to receive a testimony of satisfaction of the President of CAR in Transition. Catherine Samba Panza ended last Monday, a brief stay but intense in the economic capital.

Arriving at the Douala International Airport aboard a special flight from N'Djamena where she attended the summit of ECCAS, Catherine Samba-Panza was hosted by the SG services of the governor and also a group of supporters who chanted "Mama Catherine ..." at the VIP Lounge of the Douala international airport and in the Sawa hotel gardens where President of the Transition took up residence.

The illustrious host made no statement to the press, but from reliable sources, we were able to learn that the President of the Transition was en route to Brussels, Belgium.

Catherine Samba Panza went yesterday to the European Union (EU) to present the results of the Bangui Forum held from 5 to 11 May. She will make the case for her country among donors so they can help to implement certain recommendations of the Bangui National Forum for Reconciliation.

The EU is one of the main donors of the Central African Republic, which needs the international community to organize elections, to end the transition, finance the Demobilisation, Disarmament, Repatriation and Reintegration (DDRR) and Security Sector Reform (SSR).

The evolution of the political situation, two weeks after the end of the Forum of Bangui and especially the issue of the forthcoming elections should be the focus of discussion that the president of the transition will have with her various interlocutors.

In these solutions of research efforts for a return to peace and stability in the CAR, the President of the Transition has always enjoyed the support of the highest Cameroonian authorities.
