Carrying the “Queen” at PROMOTE

While exhibitors are showcasing their business ingenuity in the stands at Promote, some creative guys are using the influx of people to the village to make fast cash.

They have a royal throne-like wheel chair at the entrance of the exhibition village where they carry mostly young girls over a specific distance for a ransom. The girl or girls, as the movable object has possibility of carrying two at a time, is (are) given a broom and showered royal praises as they are driven to and fro short distances.

No specific price is spelt out for the operation and the amount they get from any customer depends on the weight of her pocket and bargaining power.
