Caritas Internationalis to help victims of Boko Haram

Caritas Internationalis, while concluding its annual meeting in Rome, sends the news reminding us of how essential they are to the survival of tens of thousands of people around the world.

This is the case of Cameroon where there are refugees, victims of Nigerian Islamist sect Boko Haram.

In northern Cameroon, even if the offensives launched by the Islamic sect have eased since the end of March, Caritas is helping nearly 12,000 people spread around the Fotokol region.

Meanwhile for the displaced returning home, humanitarian aid is organized for them, as explained Silvia Koch, brother Fabio Mussi, coordinator of Caritas diocese of Yagoua.
