The Indomitable Lions of Cameroon lost six (6) places in the Fifa ranking of October which was released by the umbrella of football on Thursday, October 1, 2015.
In the September Fifa ranking, Cameroon ranked 43rd. In October, the country of the Indomitable Lions moved to the 48th place in the world, losing 6-seats.
The country is ranked 7th on the African continent, behind Algeria (19th World), Côte d'Ivoire 21st, Ghana25th, Tunisia36th, Senegal 38th and Cape Verde 41st in the world.
In the October ranking, several African teams had a remarkable increase. This was the case of Liberia 95th which won 65 seats, Southern Sudan (144 + 54), the Central African Republic (126 + 42), Mauritania (89 + 25), Burundi (113th + 21), Cap-Vert (41st + 15) Benin (100th + 15), Guinea (55th + 8), Morocco (80th +), DRC (60th) and Sudan (84th + 5).
The Niger team with - 19 less, was ranked 120th in the world.
