Cameroon, others turn to French firms to prepare peacekeepers

A new contract was signed two days ago between the company Sovereign Global France (SGF) and Mauritania for training of units that will be deployed within the Minusca.

This same company signed on 10 December, with the Minister of defence of Gabon, a contract for the equipment of a Gabonese reserve battalion to be deployed within the multidimensional integrated Stabilization Mission of the United Nations in Central Africa (Minusca).

This contract follows the agreement signed between Gabon and FMS on 31 October in Paris). With a duration of three years, this relates to a Council program and assistance for the preparation of the contingent to be deployed in Central African Republic in spring 2015.
