Cameroon-Unfpa Partnership: The framework document proposed to Minjec

The representative of the United Nations Population Fund, Barbara Sow was received by the Minister of Youth and Civic Education, Bidoung Mpwatt to discuss the framework document proposed to Minjec on Monday in Yaoundé.

She was accompanied by the facilitator of the Youth Group, Galina Chus.

The meeting at the ministerial department was done in the presence of close associates of the minister. The purpose of the visit was to "share a framework document that brings together all UN agencies to have a common vision of how the system will support the ministry and the country to the enrichment and empowerment of the youth to ensure their contribution to the development of the country", said Barbara Sow.

The document was segmented into three areas, namely; youth leadership, health and youth employment.

"These three areas have specific priorities that are being developed by the agencies. This document proposed at Minjec aims to create a partnership," assured the representative of Unfpa.

The Minjec, meanwhile, has thanked his hosts for multifaceted actions on the ground and promised to go through the document with his colleagues.
