Cameroon, Israel strengthen scientific research ties

Cameroon has reinforced cooperation ties with Israel in the domains of scientific research, technology and innovation.

This was during an audience the Minister of Scientific Research and Innovation, Madeleine Tchuente granted to the Israeli Ambassador to Cameroon, Ran Gidor this June 22, 2016, in Yaounde.

During the tête-à-tête, both parties discussed plans to organise an international scientific forum in Yaounde.

Minister Madeleine Tchuente noted that there are many start-ups in Cameroon and youths involved in research and innovation who need exposure. To her, the forum will be opportunity for such exposure.

The Minister also reiterated that all modern economies are based on science and innovation hence Cameroon must join the train.
