Cameroon, Germany boost cooperation ties

The Minister of Public Health, André Mama Fouda, received the new German Ambassador to Cameroon, Hans-Dieter Stell, on Thursday, July 21, 2016.

Speaking to journalists after the brief audience, the diplomat said three weeks after his arrival in the country; he decided to begin his courtesy visits with one of the most important ministries for bilateral cooperation between Germany and Cameroon.

He said Germany has been active in the sector, and we will continue to do so. As for priorities, Ambassador Hans-Dieter Stell promised that the Embassy would continue with its programme of rural development and midwifery and will work together with the government so that the essential needs of pregnant women and other women are met.
