Cameroon-Egypt ties strengthened

The ambassador of Egypt to Cameroon , HE Sherif Salah Eldin Elleithy has been granted an audience by Cameroon minster of External Relations, Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo.

During the audience on 30th October, 2014, the Egyptian Ambassador hailed Cameroon for its effort in aiding refugees from the Central African Republic.

Ambassador Sherif Salah Eldin Elleithy also reaffirmed Cameroon of Egypt’s untiring support towards the fight against terrorism especially the insurgent Boko Haram sect.

The Egyptian emissary disclosed that the audience was also geared at inviting some Cameroonian ministers to visit Egypt; a step towards reinforcing the Cameroon – Egypt ties.

The audience also served as forum for Minister Pierre Moukoko Mbonjo to condemn terrorism in Egypt following the killing of thirty Egyptian soldiers last 24th October 2014.
